A Beacon of Hope in Uptown Saint John
On Saturday, October 12, 2024, The Helping Hand Project brought its monthly outreach to the heart of Uptown, Waterloo, Saint John, delivering essentials, care, and hope to the community. Despite the heavy downpour, the spirit of compassion and unity shone brightly as The Sent Team, volunteers, donors, and supporters came together to make a meaningful impact.
This event was a part of our ongoing mission to meet the needs of vulnerable individuals and families, creating a platform for love, care, and support.
The outreach event demonstrated the power of resilience and community spirit with the following key activities:
We extend heartfelt gratitude to The Outflow Ministry, whose unwavering support played a crucial role in the success of this outreach. Their partnership embodies the essence of community collaboration, showing what can be achieved when we work together to serve others.
The heavy rainfall didn’t dampen our resolve. Instead, it highlighted the strength and determination of our incredible volunteers, “The Sent Team”, and the resilience of those we serve. Rain or shine, The Helping Hand Project remains committed to its mission of spreading hope and making a difference.
As we reflect on this impactful day, we’re inspired to keep moving forward with our mission. Each outreach brings us closer to building stronger, more supportive communities across the region.
Be part of our journey to create lasting change. Join us as a volunteer, donate, or partner with us in upcoming initiatives. Together, we can make a difference that truly matters.
